The hotel's cozy decor and well-lit corridors made it easy for us seniors to navigate around. The sitting areas near the lobby were charming and provided a relaxing spot to read or chat with other guests. Moreover, the hotel's easy access to the nearby scenic Susquehanna River and River Common in Wilkes-Barre was a delightful option for a leisurely stroll, offering a peaceful and serene setting to enjoy nature.

Would have enjoyed more gentle reminders from the staff children about quieter hallways for a better vacation experience for us seniors.

We truly enjoyed this brand-new hotel, nothing too much trouble. Updated and good sized room with king bed was enjoyable. That property was in an easy and convenient location, on top of a hill. Everything was modern and met the demands.

As a business traveler, I chose this hotel for its proximity to the area's business parks and distribution centers. The room amenities, including the iron/iron board, individual coffee maker, and radio alarm clock with iPod charger, were all very convenient for my work-related needs.

The only service I missed for my work was the availability of a 24-hour business center.

Our group booked 7 rooms and we were blown away by the cleanliness and overall greatness of each room. The pool and jacuzzi were mind-blowing, and the front desk guy went above and beyond to accommodate our needs when we arrived late. The hotel's decor and room size were impressive, with a useful couch and friendly staff to welcome us at midnight. The bar was super convenient, and the breakfast included in our stay was delicious. Joe, the check-in and checkout clerk, was incredibly friendly, informative, and a true asset to the hotel. We can't wait to visit again in the summer. Thank you for an amazing stay!

stayed at the holiday inn, formerly west mountain inn. very clean and quiet room with comfortable beds and hot water in the shower. the staff was helpful and cheerful, going above and beyond to answer our questions. the grounds and pool area were nice, with a spectacular view from the 7th floor. enjoyed the breakfast buffet with a variety of choices and liked the convenience of express checkout.
